However, the cost of care in the U.S. is the highest among the nations in the comparison. Analyze the main specific factors that affect the cost of healthcare services in the U.S. and recommend one (1) way that physician practices can help reduce the overall cost of healthcare services in the U.S. Provide a rationale for your response.

Language Development Interview

Much of the knowledge we gain comes from our learning and experiences. For this assignment, you can spend some time talking with an experienced preschool teacher (experience), or you can plan for your own future classroom (personal learning). Your assignment is to select five questions regarding the support of language acquisition and language developmental stages in the classroom. Please review these possible questions that could serve as a guide for your interview, or you may create your own questions.

For this assignment, choose one of the following methods of completion:

1. Choose five questions that you could ask someone with preschool experience about how they support language acquisition for the stages of development in the classroom. You can record the interview (with permission) or you can write your questions and answers. After they provide their answers, use the knowledge you gained, the textbook, and at least one other resource to substantiate or refute their answers. You can provide elaboration for or against their responses to further strengthen your own understanding. Using their answers and your knowledge, select a developmental stage to summarize and explain three ways that you will meet the needs of children in this stage to support their language development.
2. Choose five questions that you may be asked in a future interview regarding how you will support language acquisition for the stages of development in your future professional role. You can record a mock interview or you can write your questions/answers. Use the knowledge you gained, the textbook, and at least one other resource to substantiate your writing. Using your knowledge of language acquisition and support of developmental levels, select a developmental stage to summarize and explain three ways you will meet the needs of children in this stage to support their language development.

The interview can be submitted as a video, audio recording, or a Microsoft Word document. In addition, you must also submit a one- to two-page Microsoft Word document with your developmental level selected and elaboration of three ways you can meet the needs of the children in this developmental stage. Please support your ideas with information from the textbook and at least one other outside resource. The Final Paper, 8-10 pages (excluding title and reference pages), should
demonstrate understanding of the reading assignments, class discussions, your
own research, as well as the implications of new knowledge.

 

For your Final Paper, you will choose one of the health care organizations
listed below and conduct an analysis of their strategic planning and evaluation
of the organization.  You should utilize any and all information available about

The Final Paper:

 

• Must be eight to ten double-spaced pages in length, and formatted according

Scenario: A 96-year-old male patient is admitted to the ICU with terminal liver cancer. He is confused and disoriented, very skinny and appears underfed, and is covered with bruises, which are common in patients with liver disorders. His daughter, who is a naturopathic physician, insists that she can cure her father by administering unknown substances, some of which smell like feces and look like tar, down his NG tube. He is clearly in pain after she does this. She insists that these are life-saving interventions on her part, but the nursing and physician staff caring for the patient are very upset and concerned that she is hastening his death. They have come to you for help.

Foundations of a Compensation Strategy

The most effective compensation strategy is one that develops a clear link between the following components:

• Job Description (i.e., work that an employee is expected to perform).
• Performance Evaluation (i.e., work that the employee has performed).
• External Salary Survey and Internal Salary Comparison (i.e., pay provided to each employee).

Examine the interrelationship between these three components by describing the purpose of each component and how it affects the others. Then explain how all three components would be used to determine the compensation for an employee.
