Carla is a 42-year-old Hispanic female who comes to the mental health clinic complaining of having trouble sleeping, feeling “jumpy all of the time,” and experiencing an inability to concentrate. These symptoms are causing problems for her at work, where she is an accountant.

Note that several disorders could match Carla’s symptoms; you are to choose a disorder that fits Carla’s symptoms and develop your project accordingly.

 

Part One will be comprised of a Mock Interview with Carla; Part Two will include a Profile Report based on your work with Carla.

 

• Part One:  ‘Interview’ Carla using your ten questions from the Week Four Checkpoint.  Each of her ‘responses’ should be comprised of 50-100 words.  Include a transcript of your mock interview as the first part of your project.  (50 points)

 

• Part Two:  Complete the Profile Report found in Appendix A-2 for Carla.  Be sure to thoroughly address each section using material from our text and material from the Faces of Abnormal Psychology Interactive Application.  (100 points)

 

• Post your final project as an attachment.
