The Research Proposal: Literature Review Matrix Assignment is an organizational tool to help you prepare for writing the literature review section of your research paper. This assignment is designed to introduce you to LIS databases and other information sources and get you started on your information community research.
By completing this matrix assignment, you will:

· Develop reading and summarizing skills
· Hone citation skills
· Build understanding about research on your selected information community
· Reflect, analyze, and gain new perspectives on your information community’s information behavior and use
For this section, construct a literature review matrix in current APA format. There must be a minimum of 8 citations or references within the matrix. The references must be from peer reviewed sources and consists of research articles. The Literature Review Matrix must build on the topic and PICO question identified in Module 1: Week 1. This is the topic that all further assignments in the course will be based. If you would choose to change to another topic, you will need to notify me for approval.
