As public health professionals, we realize the immense good that comes from early detection measures, such as health screenings; however, we still have to weigh out the costs versus the benefits.  After watching the video below and reviewing the USPSTF website, reflect on the responsibilities, goals, and objectives of the USPSTF.  Explain the concepts of prevention and detection in relation to the control of specific infectious and/or chronic conditions.  Consider health disparities with the access to preventive services.
